Hanggang sa muli, Odiongan
We were supposed to leave Odiongan on the 28th on November but, I am a freshie who's afraid to fail a subject that's why I left earlier than the rest of the delegates of UPLB. I felt bad because I haven't been to the beach in Odiongan and the games of my teammates were not even finished when I left Odiongan. I had to travel to Batangas Port all by myself and that made me feel nervous. It was again another first for me.

I can't miss the chance to buy quality marble sculptures in the "Marble Capital of the Philippines." Before leaving Odiongan, I bought marble souvenirs for my family and friends. I can't help but laugh whenever I remember what we chanted during the parade. The UPLB MVT started chanting, "Pengeng marmol!" The locals were laughing at us, they even replied "Meron sa pier."
The city knows how to flex the abundance of marble in their place. You can see marble sculptures almost everywhere and it's pretty amazing. I was planning to buy mugs for my titos and titas in Laguna but I remembered that I'll be going home alone. It ill be hard to carry all those marble stuff without breaking them.

When I board the ferry, I was so scared because I don't know anyone. I can't even sleep because I am a heavy sleeper. My things might go missing without me waking up. Good thing I got home safely. As soon as I got home in our house in Calamba, I slept for some hours. After several hours, I traveled to Los Baños to take my exams and comply some requirements.

The Odiongan trip wasn't a vacation for us but we sure had a lot of fun. I experienced plenty of firsts, gained a lot of friends, and witnessed the beauty of nature. Odiongan, though it is not the city you are used to seeing, is a great vacation spot especially when you're with great people. Odiongan will always be memorable for me because it was then that I realized that I am finally in my dream school. I am currently living the dream.
